As a Governance and CSS Advisor, you’ll take the lead in developing and implementing innovative programming aimed at fostering structural reform and safeguarding civil society space. Your role will be pivotal in integrating Trócaire’s citizen monitoring and advocacy approach, empowering communities and ensuring their voices are heard.

You will report to the Head of Programmes,The job opportunity will be offered on a permanent contract and is based in Ireland and/or the UK

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for governance and human rights? Trócaire is seeking individuals with proven experience in designing and implementing programmes using governance and human rights strategies, including robust monitoring and evaluation systems. You should have exceptional analytical and report writing skills, a solid grasp of current international development challenges, and excellent communication abilities both in English and Spanish. Additionally, multi-country experience in advisory support, familiarity with donors and donor procedures, and a background in gender-sensitive approaches to governance and human rights interventions are highly desirable.
