GP / SAS Doctor in Palliative Medicine

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated professional with experience in Palliative Care to join our supportive and collaborative team. This role offers the chance to work alongside a team of Palliative Care consultants, focusing on the delivery and development of palliative and end-of-life care services across all settings in Cornwall.The successful candidate will work closely with our CFT-based Palliative Care team, providing in-reach support to diverse healthcare settings in Cornwall and collaborate on-site with Cornwall Hospice Care, which operates two 10-bedded units within the county, enhancing the integration of services and continuity of care for patients.Main duties of the jobReview patients with complex palliative care needs and support to the specialist nurses in Acute hospitals, community and hospices.Provide supervision and educational activities to medical students, junior doctors and system-wide multidisciplinary teams.To be accessible to the wider healthcare professional community in the ability to offer timely advice and expertise in the management of patients with specialist palliative care needs.About usWe’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
