This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while building essential skills in a supportive school environment.Position: Graduate Academic CoachWe are looking for a dedicated Graduate Academic Coach to provide focused 1:1 and small group support to students at our ‘Good’ rated secondary school in Shrewsbury. This position is ideal for graduates aiming to pursue a career in teaching and seeking valuable classroom experience.Key Responsibilities:

• 1:1 and Small Group Support: Deliver tailored academic support to students who need additional help, bridging gaps in their learning and boosting their confidence.
• Assist Classroom Teachers: Work closely with teachers to support lesson plans, provide additional resources, and foster a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and Track Progress: Help track student progress and offer feedback to support each learner’s individual needs.
• Engage and Motivate Students: Inspire students to take an active role in their learning, helping them develop critical skills and a positive mindset.

About You:

• A recent graduate with an interest in teaching and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability.
• A proactive team player, ready to collaborate with teachers and other staff.
• Willingness to learn and engage in a dynamic educational setting.
