Our work is aligned with critical national priorities and is built on a strong foundation of long-term contracts and deep client relationships.

Our Graduate Development Programme is a structured two-year scheme where we provide the framework, mentoring and experiences to help you maximise your skills and ambitions. On joining our scheme in September 2025, you’ll rapidly gain knowledge of how our company works and the impact you can have to help us build a better future for all. 

We have exciting plans for the future too. Jacobs is preparing to spin off and merge its Critical Mission Solutions and Cyber & Intelligence businesses (including Energy, Security and Technology) with Amentum. We anticipate the deal to complete by the end of September 2024, subject to customary closing conditions. The merger will create a leading global engineering and technology solutions company, focused on the world’s most mission-critical projects in areas such as energy, space exploration, intelligence and analytics, and digital modernization. The new company will have more than 50,000 employees across the globe and a combined revenue of $13Bn. It will propel our future growth and create new opportunities for our employees. Here’s what you’ll need :

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Working towards a Degree or Masters-level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Materials Science, General Science or Civil Engineering.

  • Flexible self-starters who are keen to drive their career forward.

  • Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things.

  • Have the permanent right to work in the UK (essential).

Selection Process

Step 2: All applicants who pass an initial screening stage will be invited to an online ‘Introduction to the Graduate Development Programme’ presentation in September.

Step 3: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
