The successful candidate will apply technical knowledge to assist in technical consultancy and assessment work in routine situations, under the supervision of a project manager or other relevant staff. Be a key member of the team supporting business growth.Key Responsibilities
- Assist data collection, analysis and presentation of reports as required and aligned to the KPI’s and agreed processes.
- Carry out technical inspections/ assessments/design / engineering support work against defined specifications/ scope that includes budget constraints, time and contractual requirements.
- Create and maintain technical file systems. Maintain computer databases. Provide administrative assistance as required.
- Assist in producing reports/certificates/documents to an agreed format and within an agreed timescale.
- Contribute ideas and fully participate in team activities.
- Any other duties specific to the role as directed by Principal Consultant or Project Manager.
- Pursue continuous professional development in order to build experience and expand knowledge and expertise.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security policies & procedures.
- Always assess the risks and work in a safe manner, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.
- Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations (NMSO), accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager.
Key Competencies and Experience
- Completed (or working towards completing) a university, technical education in a specified discipline along with relevant demonstrable work experience.
- Member (or eligible for membership) of a recognised professional institution.
