With highly experienced teachers and a robust pastoral system, we ensure no child is left behind and consistently achieve outstanding academic results.READING MENTOR ( KS3-5)Secondary SupportASAP START DATE SECONDARY COMMUNITY SCHOOLHOUNSLOW8:30-3:30PMREADING MENTOR SMALL GROUPS /1-1 CLASSROOM SUPPORTThe Role :Teaching Assistant role in the classroom – supporting generally or in a small group – even 1-1Assisting with READING for students with Literacy difficulties/DyslexiaMotivate and progress pupils’ learning by using clearly structured, interesting teaching and earning activities.Be aware of and support difference and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs, both in learning activities and within the classroom.Use behaviour management strategies, in line with the school’s policy and procedures, to contribute to a purposeful learning environment and encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with othersFriendly & Supportive Community school – ofsted rated OUTSTANDING -Training on siteAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
