Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Up to £550 per week – Immediate Start

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their academic goals
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, adapting activities and resources to meet the specific needs of students with SEN
• Offer personalised academic and emotional support to students, fostering their confidence and motivation
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, focused environment for learning
• Assist with social and emotional development, promoting inclusion and well-being for all students
• Support students in developing key skills, such as communication, teamwork, and self-regulation
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and support staff to track student progress and contribute to their development plans
• Help students prepare for exams and assessments by offering tailored revision support

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher, ideally in a subject related to Education, Psychology, or a field relevant to SEN
• A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and a commitment to their academic and personal growth
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students of various backgrounds and abilities
• Previous experience in working with students with SEN (such as tutoring or volunteering) is desirable but not essential
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt your approach to meet different learning needs
• A proactive and motivated attitude, with a strong desire to help students succeed and develop their skills
• An interest in pursuing a career in SEN, education, or a related field
