Attention all Graduates! Are you looking to progress in your career as a teacher?Are you a graduate looking to gain school–based experience before embarking on a career in teaching or the education sector?Do you have a passion for working with young people and making a positive impact on their school journey?Milk Education are currently working with schools across Southwark who are looking to appoint Graduates for the academic year (September 2024- July 2025) on a full–time basis.You will have the opportunity to work with students on a 1:1 basis providing tailored intervention sessions as well as supporting full class teachers in the classroom. There will also be opportunities to cover lessons gaining invaluable experience prior to starting a PGCE or schools direct teacher training programme.We are looking for aspiring teachers who have graduated in any of the following categories:

• Maths

• English

• Science

• Humanities (History, Geography, RE)

• Languages

• Art and Design

• Psychology or Social Sciences

• Sport & Physical Activity

Key criteria:

• Must have a university degree 2:2 or above
• Previous experience of working with young people would be beneficial but not essential
• Clear desire to work with young people and become a teacher in the future
• Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years
• Willingness to undertake CPD training as asked by Milk and your placement school
