Location: Gateshead
Salary: £75 to £110 per day, depending on experience
Contract type: Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you a fresh graduate with a passion for education and a desire to support students post-16 in their academic journey?The Role:As a Graduate Teaching Assistant for over 16 years of students, you will play be instrumental in supporting teachers and helping students excel in their studies. This position involves working closely with educators to deliver engaging lessons, provide individual and group support and contribute to a positive learning environment.The School:GSL Education ‘Newcastle Branch’ are currently working in partnership with a magnificent educational institute in Gateshead that is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for students over 16 to join their team. This role comes with an epic educational experience that promotes both academic success and personal growth.The successful candidate will:

• Be a recent graduate with a degree in Education or a related field.
• Be committed to working alongside young children and dedicated to supporting their academic growth.
• May have previous experience working with post-16 students in an educational setting.
• Have good organisational abilities, strong communication and classroom management skills and the capacity to run a classroom efficiently.
• Have an understanding and compassionate approach to helping the students.
• Have flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects.
• Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
