Pay Rate: £87 – £108 per day (Depending on experience)

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong academic background who aspire to make a difference in the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic educational setting.About The Role:As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to provide targeted support to pupils. Your role will involve assisting with lesson delivery, supporting individual and group learning and contributing to the overall development of a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to enhance student confidence and participation.
  • Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Help with classroom organisation, resource preparation and maintaining a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Uphold school policies and contribute to safeguarding and child welfare practices.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a recent graduate with a degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • An understanding of the UK primary education system is advantageous.
  • A keen interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Patience, adaptability and enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
