We are recruiting to one fully-funded PhD Bursary in the Politics and International Relations group at Leeds Beckett University. The PhD student will be part of a research community in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences here at Leeds Beckett University that stretches across the disciplines of Politics and IR, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, English, History and Media Studies. The student will benefit from access to the researcher training programme, symposiums, conferences and other scholarly activities. We have a thriving community of staff and students with a strong interest in inequalities and social justice.

The bursary includes all UK Fees paid and a stipend of £17,668 per annum (pro-rata into 12 monthly payments) for a period of three years. Funding will be subject to satisfactory progress. We will expect you to contribute to teaching in an area close to your own research interests.

Funding

Funding will consist of UK full tuition fees for one year and a tax-free stipend of £17,668.

A laptop will be provided with office space at City Campus and the opportunity to apply for funding to support the research project.
