Grant and Fundraising Officer
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity leave of substantive post holder
Hours: 29.6 hours per week (0.8 fte)
Location: Based at home
Salary: Scale C – £21,652 – £25,014 per annum (£27,065 to £31,268 per annum full time
equivalent) dependent on experience plus 8% pension contribution
This is an extremely exciting time to be joining Butterfly Conservation in delivering our
ambitious strategy.
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Fundraising and Communications
team. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels. This role
will support achievement of our funding targets to deliver impactful work programmes across the
UK.
The successful post holder will be responsible for developing and submitting compelling and
persuasive funding applications to secure income in line with targets to achieve Butterfly
Conservation’s 2026 strategy and to meet financial ‘shortfalls’. You will establish, build and
maintain positive working relationships with funders to help facilitate the success of funding
applications.
