Update UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents – and to protect the rights of every child, everywhere. Across more than 190 countries and territories, we do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.
The world’s largest provider of vaccines, we support child health and nutrition, safe water and sanitation, quality education and skill building, HIV prevention and treatment for mothers and babies, and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.
Before, during and after humanitarian emergencies, UNICEF is on the ground, bringing lifesaving help and hope to children and families. Non-political and impartial, we are never neutral when it comes to defending children’s rights and safeguarding their lives and futures.
And we never give up.
We are supporting the implementation of the national policy for inclusive education, aimed at promoting equal access to quality education for all students, including those with disabilities and other special needs. The document will outline our strategic goals, objectives, and action plans to be implemented nationwide.
We are requesting the help of online volunteers to support UNICEF Guinea Bissau in performing the following aspects of the document:
1. Concept development: creation a visual concept for the document, including the overall layout, color scheme, and typography.
2. Daily logistics: consider exchange email or virtual meetings/calls, status updates, teamwork with other colleague(s) at UNICEF and partners from Ministry of Education/General Direction of Inclusive Education.
3. Layout design: the entire document has 42 pages, which is recommended to design the layout of each page, including the placement of text, images, and tables to ensure readability and visual appeal.
4. Graphics Creation: Create or source relevant graphics, charts, and diagrams to enhance the content and convey information effectively.
5. Image Selection and Editing: Select and edit images to be included in the document, ensuring they are high-quality and relevant to the content.
6. Typography: Choose appropriate fonts and styles for the text to ensure readability and consistency throughout the document.
7. Table Design: Design tables to present data in a clear and organized manner, ensuring they are easy to read and understand.
8. Color Scheme: Develop a color scheme that is professional and aligns with our branding, while also considering accessibility standards.
9. Cover Design: Design a cover page that reflects the theme of inclusive education and attracts attention.
10. Revision and Feedback: Incorporate feedback from the UNICEF focal point and make revisions as necessary to ensure the final product meets their requirements.
11. Finalization: Prepare the final document for printing or digital distribution, ensuring all elements are correctly formatted and optimized for the chosen format.
12. File Delivery: Deliver/share the final design files to UNICEF focal point for this request in the required format, such as PDF or editable design files.
