Graphic Designer in Carlsbad, California

Description

Looking for local Graphic Designer/Production Artist to create and design graphics for tradeshow booths and other promotional materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop visually appealing and effective designs for tradeshow booth graphics.

• Ensure all designs align with brand awareness and company guidelines.

• Collaborate with various teams and clients to understand design requirements.

• Handle large file sizes efficiently and ensure designs are completed within specified deadlines.

• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash, and Adobe Dreamweaver to create designs.

• Work on various projects such as advertisements, banner ads, and brochures.

• Ensure all artwork is delivered accurately and on time.

• Maintain consistent communication with the team to ensure project requirements are met.

• Use design controls to ensure quality and consistency in all designs.

• Exhibit creative freedom while adhering to project guidelines and specifications.

Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign

• Demonstrated experience in creating advertisements and banner ads

• Ability to design brochures and other promotional materials

• Knowledge and understanding of brand awareness strategies

• Familiarity with design controls and their application in the food processing industry

• Experience in designing for tradeshows in the food and food processing sector

• Ability to collaborate with a team and work under tight deadlines

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about design

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field is desirable

• Prior experience in the food & food processing industry would be considered an asset. Innovation starts with people.®
