Greenspace Development Partnership Officer

Medway has over 1,800 hectares of green space, from play areas to local nature reserves. We
have eight national Green Flag Award sites and it’s no wonder Medway’s green spaces are enjoyed
by more than 1.5 million visitors yearly. We really value our prestigious parks and are looking
for a Greenspace Development Partnership Officer to assist in the delivery of an ambitious
programme of regeneration.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Greenspace Development & Access team.
Your role will be varied – and will include leading on Green Flag Awards, encouraging and

With a proven track record of community engagement, partnership working, delivering green space
projects and experience of Green Flag Awards this is your opportunity to add real value to our
growing team and improve Medway’s green spaces and piers as part of our ambitious delivery
project.

Interviews are due to take place week commencing 1 July.

We will consider applications for part time and job share.

In return we offer you:

  • Generous annual leave entitlement
  • Generous local government pension scheme package
