You and your team will prepare and maintain grass and artificial pitches, undertaking tasks such as mowing, scarifying, line painting and strimming to the highest standards. You’ll also be responsible for the daily maintenance and safe use of a range of machinery, equipment, tools and chemicals.We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.About YouYou will have a passion for managing sports pitches and you’re likely to have a relevant qualification in Sports Turf Management and/or substantial experience of maintaining diverse outdoor sports pitches and surfaces. Experience of coaching and supervising others is important, as are good organisational skills. Knowledge of basic machinery repairs and servicing knowledge would be helpful, as would proven proficiency in the use of compact tractors and chainsaws.
