GROUNDSPERSON (2 x full-time roles available) 

REF: GG604

Salary will be £19,642 per annum (plus snow clearance allowance)

The Estates Division is responsible for maintaining the University Campus as an exceptional place to live, study and visit.  

We are seeking new team members to carry out horticultural and arboricultural work as well as duties associated with the maintenance of turf and hard landscaping. This will involve the use of specialist machinery equipment and the application of mechanical and chemical methods of grounds maintenance and services.

Other duties will include external cleaning; waste management; litter management and collection; and snow and ice clearance, ensuring the University Campus is well presented, welcoming, and ready for use by students, staff, and visitors.  

In addition, you will be required to participate in the Snow and Ice Clearance Rota throughout the winter.  

You will be able to demonstrate competence in all the essential criteria set out in the Person Specification.
