The Group Retirement Services Account Manager is responsible for delivering high service standards, high levels of client satisfaction and client retention. This role will also work with plan sponsors on the administration and operation of their group retirement plans, including plan governance, CAP compliance and plan member support.

Your Responsibilities –
- Works closely with HUB Producers and the HUB Group Retirement Team on all aspects of client service, compliance reporting, and market research while adhering to HUB’s best practices and standard procedures.
- Provides professional, courteous service to plan sponsors, plan members and HUB colleagues, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Participates in day-to-day communication with plan administrators and carriers and assists plan sponsors with questions or issue resolution.
- Works with carriers and plan sponsors to facilitate plan design changes.
- In conjunction with the HUB producer, the Group Retirement Services Account Manager coordinates, organizes, and conducts client meetings.
- Follows through with all meeting action items, including research, fund changes and all miscellaneous issues.
- Works with carriers and plan sponsors to facilitate the implementation of new plans and carrier changes.
- Responsible for compliance monitoring and reporting.
- Typical projects may be related to: plan set-up, plan documents, contributions, onboarding/enrollment, coordination of plan-level contact or plan changes, product changes, fund adds/eliminations, plan amendments, banking/division/payroll changes, forms customization or updates, pricing changes/reviews. Help prepare reporting and analyze trends.
- Proactively assists the Group Retirement Services team in streamlining services, developing best practices, delivering plan member education and planned client/member servicing initiatives.
- Coordinates annual reporting for clients as required.
- Maintains accurate and organized account files by appropriately documenting conversations with clients and carrier representatives; updates all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems; ensures the accuracy of data.
- Seeks continued knowledge and stays abreast of changes in the group retirement industry and other external conditions that may impact their clients. Attends industry related continuing education training and courses.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
What you will bring to the role –
- 3+ years’ experience in the group retirement industry
- LLQP Certification or willingness to complete within 3 months of hire
- RPA/CEBS certification an advantage
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from plan sponsors, plan administrators, plan members, HUB Producers and the general public.
- Comprehensive understanding of group retirement plans, including retirement plan design, customer service and internal reporting.
- Ability to respond to customer needs, solicit customer feedback to improve service, and handle difficult or emotional customer situations promptly and accurately.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research and interpret financial data.
- Motivated to help support a diverse team and contribute to a team environment.
- Pro-active and a self-starter with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectivity in both written and verbal.
- Works well in a fast paced, client-focused environment.
- Proficiency in windows-based computer systems.
