Rate: £1200 per assessment (Umbrella)Job Summary
Connect2Hampshire is looking for experienced Educational Psychologists to support Hampshire County Council and the Isle of Wight schools in delivering psychological services and guidance. This role is remote, with occasional travel to Winchester preferred.Essential Requirements:
UK-Based Candidates Only
Commitment: Minimum of 2 assessments per month, with availability through March 2025.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a practicing Educational Psychologist.
Qualifications: Doctorate, PhD, or Master’s in Educational Psychology (or equivalent).
Application Materials: Submit CV, cover sheet, and 2 anonymized reports in a single document.Key Responsibilities:
Psychological Advice: Provide statutory and advisory psychological input for children and young people (ages 0-25) within SEN services.
Community Support: Offer psychological expertise to communities, schools, parents, and young people.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Engage with multi-agency teams to support children and young people’s development.Day-to-Day Duties:
Consultation: Act as a psychological consultant for parents, carers, teachers, and professionals.
Educational Effectiveness: Partner with Education and Inclusion teams to improve school outcomes.
Statutory Advice: Supply statutory guidance to Local Authorities in line with the SEN Code of Practice.
Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain detailed assessment and consultation records.
Tribunal Attendance: Attend SEN and disability tribunals as required by Local Authorities.About Connect2Hampshire
