The Role:

Full-time KS5 History Specialist with the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities within the department.
Lead the development and implementation of the A-Level History curriculum.
Mentor and support junior staff members, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the History department.
Deliver outstanding A-Level History lessons, fostering a passion for the subject among students.

An experienced and highly motivated History specialist with a proven track record of leadership.
Strong understanding of A-Level History curriculum and assessment requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to departmental leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in History or a related field.
Significant experience teaching A-Level History and a proven track record of success.
Demonstrated leadership experience and a strong understanding of departmental management.
Right to work in the UK.
