The college is part of the Lancashire & Cumbria Institute of Technology and the Engineering offer forms a major part of this provision. We have one programme offered as a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) and we offer a degree apprenticeship for Engineering too.The successful candidate will be primarily based at the Accrington & Rossendale College University Centre, but will also have set delivery days at the Nelson & Colne College University Centre. Ad-hoc travel across sites may also be required.What You Will Be Doing:

• Teach on HE Engineering programmes (HNC/D, BEng) – all subject specialisms will be considered, delivering effective learning for students
• To plan and prepare a high-quality learning experience, including for delivery online, as required.
• Develop and share resources for the subject including maintaining effective links across the College Group.
• Ensure assessment is planned, set and carried out to the highest standard and follows internally and externally set undergraduate regulations.

What We Are Looking For:

• A Degree in a relevant subject area
• A higher degree (MA/MSc/Mphil) or PhD or willingness to pursue
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to work towards within three years of appointment
