We’re just as passionate about helping our people get more out of life too; building careers with real growth, a sense of purpose, belonging and wellbeing.About the roleWe are recruiting for a Head of Cash Flow Forecasting who will be the key person in the understanding and articulation of the daily, weekly and monthly consolidated cash flows of the Group. A senior finance role within the Treasury department but also working closely with the Group Finance team to ensure latest cash flow projections are factored into the medium and longer term financial planning of the Group.Key responsibilities:
- Business decision support to the Board, Executive and the Finance GLT on improving cash flow and maintaining sufficient liquidity.
- Reviewing and consolidating the business divisions’ cash flows to produce a rolling 12 months’ cash flow forecast.
- Work with all areas of the business that all emerging risks and opportunities are appropriately factored into the latest cash forecasts.
- Chairing multi-functional cash squad to ensure required activities are understood, tracked and delivered by the squad.
- Monitoring all banking covenants and providing options for compliance.
- Support commercial negotiations with suppliers specifically with regards to invoice payment timing and supplier payment terms.
- Weekly reporting to the Group Treasurer and Chief Finance Officer.
About youThe scope of the role will mean that you will have relationships with all areas of the finance function, the wider business and key external stakeholders. The consolidated cash flows of the Group are affected by all areas of the business and as such you will be expected to communicate and influence to ensure the right outcome is achieved from a cash flow/liquidity perspective.Ideally you will have some or all of the following;
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified with a strong academic track record.
- Proven track record of senior financial management and business analysis
- Comfortable and confident when dealing with senior management and Shareholder representatives
- A broad understanding of cash flow and working capital
- Proven successes of developing insightful reporting and analysis to use for major decision making
- Able to work to tight deadlines with extremely high levels of accuracy
- Experience of financial modelling
- Confident, influential, be able to offer constructive challenge and build strong working relationships
