This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for teaching and a vision for innovative geographical education.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Geography department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement an engaging and comprehensive Geography curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing guidance and support to ensure academic excellence.
• Inspire and mentor other Geography teachers, promoting continuous professional development.
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Collaborate with other departments and contribute to the overall academic strategy of the school.
• Organize and oversee field trips, extracurricular activities, and Geography-related events.
• Ensure compliance with the latest educational standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching Geography, with a track record of success in improving student outcomes.
• Previous leadership experience within a school environment is desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff.
