- Lead and develop the History & Politics department, ensuring high academic standards
- Teach History & Politics across KS3, KS4, and KS5, inspiring students through engaging and challenging lessons
- Oversee curriculum development, departmental strategy, and staff mentoring
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, fostering critical thinking and debate
- Organise academic enrichment activities, such as guest lectures, historical site visits, and political discussions
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in History, Politics, or a related subject
- PGCE or QTS
- Proven experience teaching History & Politics at KS5
- Strong leadership skills and experience in curriculum development or departmental leadership
- Passion for academic excellence and the ability to inspire students and colleagues alike
