The role

This role will work directly with the Director of People Services Hub to provide thought leadership, innovation and systems intelligence whilst also providing ownership for the BAU delivery of our HR Systems and related activity.

Responsible for providing technical solutions and governance across multiple HR Technologies (this includes Success Factors -Employee Central and Success Factors Recruitment & Onboarding) whilst ensuring the delivery of BAU support across multiple HR calendar activities. Working with key Stakeholders in IT and the broader university the role holder will support the review, design, development and implementation of HR technology solutions – including software, applications and systems to support the People Function and key people related activity. 

This role will assume responsibility for the current HR Systems Team and all associated deliverables.  Managing this team, whilst also focusing on supporting and developing our internal capability will also be key.

It is anticipated that a hybrid working pattern can be adopted for this role, where the successful candidate can work from home and the office. However, as this role is contractually aligned to our Milton Keynes office it is expected that some attendance in the office will be required when necessary and in response to business needs.

Skills and experience

  • Do you have extensive SAP product experience, both strategic and delivery?
  • Do you also have experience in defining the HR lifecycle process system support from implementation to adoption/enhancement and to continuous improvement?
  • Can you demonstrate personal confidence and resilience without arrogance?
  • Are you a strong communicator with the ability to build connections across varying levels?
