You will be responsible for strategic leadership across several key operational functions including Management Information Systems (MIS), learner experience, and the development of non-academic services.Your role will involve leading major projects that are essential to the financial and strategic goals of Our Newham – Learning & Skills. You will provide guidance and support to the Senior Leadership Team on operational management and learner experience, ensuring that our services are responsive, innovative, and of high quality.In collaboration with the Quality and Curriculum teams, you will work to ensure the effective delivery of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), continuously improving service quality and learner satisfaction. Additionally, you will oversee compliance with funding regulations and standards, including the requirements of GLA AEB funding and other awarding bodies.This is a unique opportunity to lead in an evolving service, taking ownership of the operational functions that drive our organisation forward.About YouYou will have significant experience in one of the core areas of responsibility, with a strong preference for expertise in MIS or learner experience. Your background will include substantial leadership experience at a senior level, particularly in managing complex departments within adult or further education environments.You are highly ambitious for learner success and bring a deep understanding of the operational challenges involved in enhancing the learner experience. With a solid grasp of further education funding, ILR management, and audit requirements, you are adept at ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.You are passionate about delivering an exceptional learner experience across all operational functions, recognising that learner experience extends far beyond the classroom. You understand the importance of a holistic approach that encompasses every aspect of the learner journey, from admissions and support services to the quality of facilities and overall student satisfaction.You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to effectively influence and support stakeholders at all levels. Your approach is collaborative, and you are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where both staff and learners can thrive.Holding a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, you also have a management qualification or are working towards one.
