As the Head of Policy & Research, you will lead policy initiatives and research projects on social mobility and educational inequality. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes.
- Develop and oversee policy strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Lead research projects, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Engage with industry leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders to advocate for initiatives.
- Monitor regulatory changes within the financial services sector and assess their impact on organisational objectives.
- Manage a team of researchers and policy analysts to achieve project milestones.
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance the scope and impact of research outputs.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of trends and developments within the financial services industry.

- A strong academic background in economics, public policy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in policy development and conducting research projects.
- Excellent analytical skills (R/SPSS/STATA/Python) with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with the financial services industry and its regulatory framework.
- Leadership experience, including managing teams and external collaborations.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and strategic thinking.

- Competitive salary in the range of £56,000 – £64,000 per annum.
