Growth and autonomy focused, we’re a university like no other. And we’re growing. Really growing.

Thanks to the fresh thinking, bold decisions, and ambition of our people, we’re making education more accessible for all. It’s what drives us. As Head of School of Engineering – we hope it will inspire you too. Join our ambitious Academic Leadership at Arden University and you’ll turn your ideas into reality, make big things happen and secure a brighter future for yourself, as well as our students.

Find your spark – and empower others to find theirs.

The new School of Engineering will deliver degree programmes, apprenticeships and CPD training to enable learners to enter or progress in the engineering profession. The Arden delivery model of distance and blended learning enables learners who otherwise may not have been able to access higher education to study in parallel with their work and/or family commitments. This academic delivery will be supplemented with opportunities for practical experience through live project briefs, group work, authentic assessments and residential experiences that will provide learners with a portfolio of engineering work.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual as Head of School of Engineering. Reporting to the Dean of STEM and working closely with other senior colleagues, you will shape and implement the vision for this new School whilst aligning with Arden University’s academic strategy, ensuring it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in learning and teaching as well as research and knowledge exchange. Your leadership and collaboration skills will be tested as you strive to deliver multidisciplinary and industry-focused programmes within the design, technology, and engineering sectors.

The new Head of School will need to grow the school, explore previously untapped markets, and continue to develop our presence in the higher education market.
