This will include further enhancing the School’s world class research activity, maintaining and developing its excellent teaching and student experience, continuing to foster the School’s key stakeholder relationships and growing its international reputation and links.This role is for a five year term with the potential of a second term, then the role holder will remain as a substantive academic postholderThe Head of School reports to Vice-Principal & Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering. The appointee will form close working relationships with other Heads of School in the Faculty and will play a key role as a member of the Faculty Executive. The Head of School will work with members of the professional services, at school, faculty and university level, to represent the School’s interests and ensure compliance with Queen Mary regulations.About YouApplications are invited from Professorial level candidates with exceptional records of research in one or more area of Biochemistry, Biology or Psychology.
