TU London is based at Here East in Stratford, a vibrant and contemporary space.  Here East, part of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, is an innovation and technology campus with locally owned food and coffee outlets. There’s even a spa, barbers, retro video-game bar and a gym in the area.


SALARY: £58,243 – £69,456 per annum + up to 10% bonus

CONTRACT: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)

We are currently looking to recruit a passionate Head of Student and Campus Life to lead the student and campus life function at TU London, ensuring an outstanding student and staff experience and an efficient, well-run campus.


A proactive individual who can act as an ambassador for TU London to support the ongoing sustainability of the campus. You will provide strategic input and effectively lead the TU London Student & Campus life team to ensure targets are achieved and compliance is robust.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Dean/Director in the leadership and management of TU London.  Leadership of the broad campus operations including: student experience & quality, student support, people, finance, business planning, IT, digital learning and Health & Safety. The Head of Student and Campus Life will hold responsibility for ensuring TU London maintains compliance with all legal, statutory, and quality responsibilities including student complaints and safeguarding. The Head of Student and Campus Life is integral to the leadership of a customer focussed approach working with key stakeholders to develop holistic approaches to the student journey. You will adopt a digital first approach to support innovation and robust processes.

You will have knowledge and experience in the development of services and processes informed by customers, colleagues and stakeholders. You will either hold a degree or equivalent extensive occupational experience. Experience of leadership within a higher or further education environment or similar organisation is essential and a comprehensive understanding of quality, compliance and student service delivery.

Your skills and expertise will include the delivery of customer services and innovative service delivery at a professional level. Experience of coordinating and using relevant systems and procedures to benefit the service delivery model. The ability to lead and manage a multi-skilled team, including identifying skills gaps and needs to inform workforce development is essential to the role.
