Age Range 4 -7 yearsDue to the retirement of our current Headteacher, the Governing Body at Carlton Standhill Infants’ School is seeking a passionate and proactive leader to take up the position of Head Teacher in September 2025. • Put the children’s academic and pastoral needs at the heart of all that they do.
• Inspire, motivate, and support pupils and staff to achieve their full potential whilst leading and working as part of a team.
• Build on the school’s current strengths and successes.
• Collaborate and build links with others beyond the school to build and maintain a learning community.
• Be able to communicate effectively with the children, staff, parents, and governors and be an active listener.
• Show excellent leadership skills with an ability to motivate and manage staff.
• Bring creativity and innovation to the future development and direction of the school.
• Has proven experience of Early Years and Key Stage 1 practice.
• Can demonstrate, through their leadership, understanding and empathy towards the community that the school serves.
• Have a detailed and thorough knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety.
