Amphibian and Reptile Conservation is a national wildlife charity dedicated to the conservation
of our native amphibians and reptiles. The Trust is looking to appoint a Health and Safety
Officer who will also work as part of our Dorset field team. The post holder will take overall
responsibility for managing all aspects of Health & Safety relating to the Trust and its
activities. The post will involve working with the Dorset Field Team as part of our heathland
management programme.
Ideally the applicant will be qualified in or have a good working
knowledge of health and safety issues in both the field and office environment and hold a
chainsaw licence. The applicant must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.
This post will require both occasional weekend and out of office hours working and will include some
travel throughout the UK. A full, clean driving licence is required. This post is full time (5
days per week – 37.5 hours).
