To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Health Visitor to join our Health Visiting team in Oban.This post is full time, 37 hours per week.We are looking for a Health Visitor who will provide safe, effective, client centred care, who has t knowledge of child protection systems and current developments within Health Visiting.As the Health Visitor you will promote the well-being of children and their families in accordance with the Universal Health Visiting pathway, utilising the GIRFEC principles and approach to underpin assessment and planning for children and their families.The Child’s planning process is key to this role.You will provide an accessible, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective Health Visiting service to the Oban area. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
