You have a deep skill set in signal processing for hearing enhancement and a passion for improving users’ ability to experience the world around them. In this position, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, research scientists, and designers to develop novel hearing enhancement technologies. You will focus on designing and integrating state-of-the-art hearing enhancement algorithms to AR/VR products to create new experiences beyond what traditional consumer devices are capable of.Hearing DSP Engineer ResponsibilitiesDevelop hearing enhancement algorithms from concept to product in Matlab, Python, and C/C++Develop hearing enhancement algorithms that meet system-level constraints for wearable audio devices with microphones and speakersStrong collaboration with the interdisciplinary audio team, to deploy new technologies in AR/VR productsMinimum QualificationsBS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experienceExpertise in hearing enhancement signal processing and auditory perceptionUnderstanding of how end-to-end audio systems work including transducers, audio ICs, acoustics, embedded DSPs, etc.7+ years experience creating efficient real-time audio algorithmsPreferred QualificationsMS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldsExperience with application of machine learning techniques to hearing enhancement algorithms2+ years of feedback management system design and implementationLocationsAbout MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
