Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to support students and lead learning in a secondary school environment?We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting students academic and personal development.Key Responsibilities:
· Lead small group interventions and provide one-to-one support where needed.
· Plan, deliver, and assess structured learning activities under the direction of the teacher.
· Cover lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring high-quality learning continues.
· Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those who require additional guidance.
· Assist in assessing students’ progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
· Promote a positive learning environment, encouraging student engagement and confidence.What Were Looking For:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent) or extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant with the ability to lead learning.
Experience working with secondary school students, including those with SEN.
Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach to education.
