They are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled History Teacher to join their dedicated faculty in a full-time, permanent position commencing ASAP or January.Position Overview:The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school’s dynamic History department, inspiring the next generation of passionate individuals. The role entails fostering a love for thinking in students, equipping them with essential skills for the modern age.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous History lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school’s educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the History department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of History.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching History at the secondary level.
