  • Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons to students.
  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and personal development.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and incorporate relevant resources and materials into lessons.
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians.
  • Support and mentor students in their academic and personal growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level.
  • Excellent knowledge of the History curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Understanding of and adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
