1427598Position Available: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)Location: BradfordStart Date: ASAPAbout the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in primary schools in the BD2 and BD15 area of Bradford. As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education to students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in delivering lessons, including planning, preparation, and assessment.
  • Lead small group activities and interventions to support students’ learning and development.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an additional language (EAL).
  • Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience, including a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in primary education settings, preferably within the Bradford area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents/careers.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of young learners.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards working in a dynamic school environment.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
