You are equally comfortable holding a politician accountable as you are chatting with children, and you know when to put people at ease and when to challenge them.You understand that audiences want to be both entertained and informed as they start their day, and you realize the importance of making audiences feel welcome and part of a community. You know that using a full range of tone, including humour, is key to strong radio current affairs programming.You have a sense of adventure, an eclectic range of interests and a keen desire to meet new people, explore our city, and learn other perspectives. You are passionate about championing stories from New Brunswick’s under-represented communities, and you love meeting listeners where they live through in-person public appearances and at remotes.An exceptional journalist and a keen observer, you must be able to quickly analyze a broad range of issues and thrive in the fast-paced, high-pressure world of live, local radio. You have a strong grasp on Saint John and New Brunswick’s political landscape and its resource-driven economy, and you understand how these issues affect the day-to-day lives of the people who live here.As a member of the Saint John Morning team, it’s clear you care about your colleagues.
