Are you passionate about supporting learners? Do you have a British Sign Language Qualification? Do you have experience working with the deaf?Dovetail and Slate are an employment business working in partnership with over 200 colleges across the UK, is offering exciting Learning/Student Support opportunities for individuals with experience supporting learners or from a care background.I work with colleges that require hourly paid Communication Support Workers across the following areas for the next academic year (Sept Start). These long term temporary contracts, with the opportunity to be taken on permanent.Full time hours and part time hours Available– Romford– Twickenham– BarkingTerm Time OnlyResponsibilities:
1:1 support of students with hearng impairmentsInterpret between English and BSLSupport with note takingRequirements: –
Experience working with hearing impairedL3 British Sign Language or above (Essential)Knowledge of additional learning needsUp to date Safeguarding training, or willing to obtain.Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain.Benefits/Packages:
