How do medical programmes decide the core basic science content?

University of Dundee

About the Project

This PhD would explore how educators from basic science and clinical backgrounds make decisions about the core content to include in the “basic science” components of undergraduate medical curricula. It is anticipated that this work would include the design and implementation of a discrete choice experiment to determine prioritisation, having first identified the priorities and the different approaches to curriculum design likely to be implemented.
