As the HR Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions within our organization. From managing payroll and benefits administration to facilitating recruitment processes and maintaining personnel records, you will be at the forefront of supporting our employees and leadership team. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to navigate through various HR platforms will contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR operations.   • Execute bi-weekly payroll processing for over 40 employees and conduct annual payroll record reconciliation. (2 days every 2 weeks)
  • Manage Canadian and US Benefits administration, handling new enrollments, terminations, and adjustments.
  • Oversee monthly reconciliation of Canadian WSIB and ensure timely submission of payments.
  • Coordinate tracking and reconciliation of employee vacation entitlements.
  • Facilitate recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening candidates, and collaborating closely with hiring managers.
  • Provide administrative assistance for the annual performance review cycle.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and generate reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing HR metrics data, including exit interviews.
  • Assist the Leadership team in disseminating employee-related communications.
  • Support leadership in maintaining and administering HR policies, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Possess 2 to 5 years of professional experience in either Payroll administration or HR Administration.
  • Preferred experience in a service-oriented industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated with adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in ADP platforms, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online recruitment platforms.
