About us(CBC) promotes interdisciplinary and cross-faculty collaboration and translation of research into practice and policy. The purpose of the CBC is to increase the quality and quantity of academic activity in behaviour change at UCL, improve communication and collaboration across disciplines and support UCL in being a leading and world-renowned centre for expertise in behaviour change. The CBC is part of the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences.The post-holder will join a small but growing team of Research, Teaching and Professional Services staff led by Centre Directors Professor of Health Psychology, Susan Michie, and Associate Professor Fabiana Lorencatto.This is a new role with primary responsibility for HR administration and will join a Professional Services staff of 4 other colleagues who between them cover the administrative support for the activities of the Centre: the Administrative Manager (0.7FTE); Training, Events and Communications Manager (1 FTE); PA/Research Administrator to the Centre’s Leads (0.5FTE); and the MSc Teaching Administrator (0.5FTE).About the roleThe post-holder will be primarily responsible for the administration of the HR function at the Centre, working closely with the Administrative Manager in particular, to ensure that the Centre’s staff are supported and in alignment with UCL’s procedures, with some additional duties required to assist in running the Centre.About youApplicants should be educated to A-level or equivalent vocational standard, and have recent experience of working in a similar role in a UK university, research institute, or charity.The applicant should have a demonstrable knowledge of the UK’s legislation relating to employment.The Centre has a busy environment and essential qualities for applicants are: strong problem-solving abilities, flexibility and adaptability to an evolving environment, and good interpersonal skills with an ability to work co-operatively with a wide range of busy colleagues.What we offerAs well as the exciting opportunities this role presents, we also offer some great benefits some of which are below (pro-rated to 0.5FTE):
