Smart Teachers working with a mainstream secondary school based in North London who are seeking a proactive and highly organised HR Assistant to support the smooth running of the school’s HR operations.About the roleAbout the Role:

• Support HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all HR data is up-to-date.
• Assist with payroll administration and staff absence management.
• Provide advice and support to staff regarding HR policies and procedures.

• School-based experience is essential. You understand the unique challenges and needs of a school environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office
• A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
