JOB SUMMARY:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide excellent customer service to candidates throughout interview and preemployment processes. This can include scheduling interviews, welcome calls to candidates, follow-up communication regarding preemployment tasks, and providing clarification on candidate tasks and questions.
Weekly reporting and status on new candidates, interviews, preemployment clearances, start dates and additional ad hoc requests as needed.
Troubleshoots and resolves all issues of interviews for candidates and preemployment for new employees either through own means or by leveraging partnerships across the organization.
Updates process maps, work instructions and playbooks to ensure up to date documentation of owned processes.
Coordinate travel needs and logistics for external onsite interviews.
Coordinate internal and external applicant interviews.
Responsible for the development of relationships through effective communication skills, executing on commitments, and follow-through with hiring managers, candidates, internal support partners, and HR organization.
Manage talent acquisition purchase orders and equipment requests by preparing and submitting invoices within Ariba system. Contact vendors and candidates to obtain or relay account and payment information.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding and enforcing regulations related to fair recruitment practices (Complies with all federal, state, and company policies and procedures such as OFCCP, EEO, ADA)
Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices.
Participates in process enhancement and projects that advance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR and/or Talent Acquisition – knowledge of industry and company policies/procedures.
Responsible for contributing to ideas, development of processes/plans, and executing/communicating to the business.
Responsible for other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Bilingual capability preferred
Minimum 2 years of human resources, customer service, hospitality or relative experience required.
Experience in a high-volume customer and/or candidate environment preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must work independently with minimal guidance and manage workload/priorities as appropriate
Bias for action to complete numerous phone calls and emails daily
Verbal and written communication skills in a professional business environment (grammar, spelling, ability to communicate with varying levels of professionals, vocabulary, and comprehension)
Bias for customer service – proactive communication to customers and team members, delivers on commitments, and is knowledgeable and accurate regarding expertise
Working understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word – document editing, form letters, Excel – tracking, basic formulas, sorting/filtering, Outlook – manage high-volume of candidate communications, calendar appointments, templates, and workload organization, Power Point – basic development of presentations)
Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to use discretion in dealing with confidential information. Maintain strict confidentiality with employee and customer information
Comfortable in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities
