Description
We are seeking a qualified HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions, such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting or acquiring background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Implementing new company policies and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assisting in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
Undertaking tasks around performance management.
Gathering and analyzing data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire, employee turnover rates etc.
Organizing quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
Enhancing job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activities.
Ensuring our recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements.
Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus.
Certification in Human Resources (such as PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
