About our client and position:Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing real estate development company dedicated to creating exceptional spaces that enhance communities and enrich lives. They are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of Executive Operations, the HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture. This is a stand alone position.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new hire orientation.
- Oversee employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements. This includes managing salary structures, bonus programs, and employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Facilitate employee relations by providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities, foster career growth, and support succession planning initiatives.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages, taxes, and benefits deductions.
- Manage health and safety programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Promote a positive work environment and company culture through employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and communication strategies.
- Stay informed about HR best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously improve HR processes and policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR manager or similar role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, training and development, and payroll.
- Experience managing health and safety programs in a corporate environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- CHRL designation an asset

$120000 per year
