SummaryReporting to the Director of Enterprise Business Applications, the role of HR, Payroll and HSE Systems Team Lead is to provide leadership, guidance and support for the Human Resources, Payroll and Health, Safety and Environment systems of Enerflex. Included in this scope are the integrations of these systems with associated internal and external systems.This position supports all Enerflex locations globally (Canada, USA, Latin America, Eastern Hemisphere) and communicates with cross-functional teams which includes coordinating both internal and external stakeholders to bring projects to completion efficiently and effectively. Leveraging system capabilities to meet business needs and designing the best-fit solutions are key accountabilities in this role.We seek an individual who possesses solid knowledge of human resources processes, strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical elements to business customers and experience building strong relationships with key stakeholders across business units.Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead a team of 3-5 functional analysts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, collaborating closely with customers to prioritize work and address their needs effectively.
- Provide input into yearly budget.
- Manage external vendors including purchasing and invoicing.
- Provide application strategies for HR, Payroll and HSE.
- Provide system support and guidance ensuring daily operations are running smooth, which includes troubleshooting, resolving issues, and managing the support ticket queue.
- Support SAP HR/Payroll/SuccessFactors configuration for regional and corporate departments.
- Provide Kronos configuration, report development and support for time administrators.
- Support integration between Kronos, SAP, SuccessFactors and other custom systems.
- Prepare solid solutions to design inquiries considering business requirements, Kronos, and SAP capabilities as well as integration requirements.
- Facilitate testing of new solutions with the business to ensure solution meets deliverables; includes working with Subject Matter Experts in cross-functional teams to develop and execute test scripts as part of project test phases that align with business requirements.
- Accountable for coordination and testing of all HR/Payroll system enhancements and upgrades.
- Develop training material and process maps to support the business in training new users.
- Build strong relationships with key Human Resources and HSE stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Follow Enerflex’s technology standards, policies and support processes.
- Understand and support business change management methodology and alignment with SOX controls.
- Support SOX audit requests including control execution, documentation, reconciliation, and walkthroughs in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or related work education and/or experience.
- Proven experience leading functional teams is required. This experience may include project teams.
- 5-7 years’ experience as a functional or systems analyst supporting HCM systems including Organization Administration, Personnel Administration, Time Management and Payroll.
- Strong technical skills in HCM are required.
- Proven experience with the design, development, configuration and implementation of key HR business processes based on best practices and aligned with business requirements.
- 1-3 years of experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central is required.
- Experience with SAP HCM in ECC 6 or S/4HANA is preferred.
- SAP SuccessFactors certification is a definite asset.
- Acumen to understand HR and Payroll business processes for system design.
- Experience supporting Kronos Workforce Central Suite including Timekeeper, Absence Management and Activity is an asset.
- Proficiency in Spinifex reporting tool is an asset.
- Outstanding facilitation, analytical, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Team player with a strong collaborative attitude.
- A quick learner, willing to work under pressure and energized by challenges.
- Willingness to take on tasks beyond standard role definition.
