I am partnered with a growing CRO focused within Statistics & RWE, who are looking for a talented Senior HTA Statistician to join their team. As a HTA Statistician, you will play a crucial role in conducting statistical analyses and providing expertise in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to support the evaluation of healthcare technologies, interventions, and treatments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, evidence-based decision-making in healthcare.Key Responsibilities:

  • Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical analyses of clinical trial and real-world data, including survival analysis, meta-analyses, and other advanced statistical techniques relevant to health technology assessment
  • HTA Submissions: Lead or contribute to the development of HTA submissions, including statistical analysis plans, health economic models, and evidence synthesis for regulatory agencies and reimbursement authorities
  • Evidence Generation: Design and execute studies to generate evidence on the clinical effectiveness, safety, cost-effectiveness, and quality of life impact of healthcare interventions
  • Methodological Development: Stay abreast of advancements in statistical methods and health economics research, and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative methodologies to address complex healthcare challenges
  • Communication: Effectively communicate statistical findings and implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and publications.

This will be a hands-on/ lead role whilst also mentoring several junior team members.   • 3+ years’ experience as a Statistician (Ideally CRO)
  • Strong HTA Experience including Dossiers
  • Master’s or PhD ideally in Statistics. (Will consider Biostatistics Health Economics, Epidemiology, or a related field)
  • Experience working in health technology assessment, health economics, outcomes research, or related fields within the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or STATA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex statistical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to HTA submissions is preferred.

Expected salary

£55000 – 60000 per year
