Human Behaviour Researcher – 39593 – £33.54/hr umbrella rateDo you have human behaviour experience, and are you seeking a new job in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Human Behaviour Researcher, and the role comes with a umbrella contract rate of £33.54 per hour (Inside IR35).As a Human Behaviour Researcher, you will investigate user behaviour with early stage concept interface design to validate that they are ready to move to the production phase for future vehicles. You will work as part of a team including both interaction designers and user interface researchers to develop the future interface systems from the ground up and validated all the way through to real world environments.In your first few weeks in this Human Behaviour Researcher role, you can expect to:

  • Plan testing campaigns to validate performance against known targets
  • Manage data collection and analysis methods (including statistical) to allow for the generation of reports about the refinement of interface systems
  • Work as part of an agile team developing concepts for future vehicles
  • Plan sprints, develop test requirements and carry out a continual testing plan to assess UI proposals.

To apply for this Human Behaviour Researcher role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human Computer Interaction, Product Design (with a focus on user interfaces), Psychology, Human Factors / Ergonomics, with a particular interest in understanding user behaviour in an operational environment
  • Advanced degree (Masters / PhD) in Human computer interaction, product design, Psychology and Human Factors
  • Design experience in the automotive or consumer electronics industries is preferred.
